Gaurav Agrawal appointed as Ajmer Development Authority Commissioner

Gaurav Agrawal, 2012-Batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre has been appointed as the Commissioner of Ajmer Development Authority. Prior to this post, Agrawal served the post of Jodhpur Development Authority Commissioner.

Agrawal has been replaced by Meghraj Singh Ratnoo. Although Agrawal was relieved from his post as Jodhpur Commissioner last week, his current appointment came along with the transfer order of 70 IAS officers of Rajasthan.

Agrawal has also been Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Karauli. In the past, he has also held the post of Sub-divisional officer and sub-divisional magistrate for Bali and Mount Abu both. He also served as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Co-operation and Farmer Welfare, New Delhi, Government of India.

Agrawal is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, from where he has pursued B. Tech in Computer Science. He is an MBA from IIM Lucknow.
