Technologies like Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things are redefining the way we work and are also becoming intrinsic part of our lives. With the Digital India scheme of the Government of India, these technologies are deployed by the Government of India to deliver seamless e-governance services to the citizens. On the other hand, the skill development is not at par with the rising demand.
To discuss and deliberate on the Government of India’s technology deployments and initiatives across sectors, Microsoft India and Elets Technomedia are organising Digital Governance Tech Summit on August 27, 2019. The Summit would also address the issues such as gap between the demand and supply of skilled youth.
Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog would be the Chief Guest of the Summit and would deliver the Fireside Chat on the theme of ‘Ensuring Digital Transformation with Effective Skilling’. Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY, Government of India would deliver the inaugural address and Anant Maheshwari, President, Microsoft India would deliver the keynote address.
The Summit, being held in New Delhi, will have an array of special address and panel discussions on topics such as technical upskilling, digital transformation of government services, cybersecurity, accessibility and localization and efficient delivery of e-governance services.
The Summit will offer skill development opportunities to IT professionals and technocrats, through an workshops and technical sessions by Microsoft experts. The key themes of the skill development technical sessions would include Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure Core Services, Data Analytics Insights, to name a few.
The Summit would also provide an opportunity to take Microsoft AZ-900 Certification Exam at zero fee.
