Hardik Satishchandra Shah appointed Deputy Secretary to PMO

Hardik Satishchandra Shah, a 2010-Batch officer of Gujarat cadre has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in Prime Minister Officer (PMO).


As per the government order issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday, Shah has been inducted as the Deputy Secretary to the PMO.

Prior to this appointment, Shah served as the Private Secretary to Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Environment.


Apart from Hardik Shah, four other officers have been inducted on Friday including a Joint Secretary, two other Deputy Secretaries and a Director.

The ACC has also appointed nine Joint Secretaries from private sectors through lateral entry mode.
