Andhra Pradesh Bureaucratic Rejig: 32 IAS officers transferred

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 32 IAS officers and gave posting to seven officers.

2015-Batch officers V Vinod Kumar and C M Saikanth Varma have been promoted as Joint Collector and posted as Project Officers of Integrated Tribal Development Agencies at Parvathipuram and Seethampet respectively.

Budithi Rajsekhar (1992-Batch) has been transferred as the Principal Secretary of School Education.

B Udaylaxmi, 1993-Batch officer has been posted as the Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment.

Muddada Ravichandr has been posted as Social Welfare Secretary. The 1996-Batch officer is at present the Finance Secretary.

Mukesh Kumar Meena (1998-Batch), the present Social Welfare Secretary has been transferred to the Tribal Welfare Department.

KVN Chakradhara Babu (2011-Batch) has been posted as the Joint Managing Director, Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited.

M Hari Narayan, another 2011-Batch officer has been appointed as the Executive Director, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.

2012-Batch officers, S Nagalakshmi and A Mallikarjuna have been posted as Managing Director, AP Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited, Visakhapatnam and CEO of Aarogya Sri, the flagship health insurance scheme of the government respectively.

V Prasanna Venkatesh, another 2012-Batch officer has been appointed as the Commissioner of Vijaywada Municipal Corporation.

Srijana Gummalla, 2013-Batch officer has been appointed as the Commissioner of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.

Madiredy Pratap, 1991-Batch IPS officer has been posted as the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation. Pratap is at present the Director General of Special Protection Force.
