To give a boost to the manufacturing units in the State, the Government of Tripura has launched a new government e-marketing portal.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman, while inaugurating an event said that the portal would help products to reach out to customers across the country.
The Tripura Government has laid special emphasis on e-governance and digitisation of the services.
“Products which are manufactured here like rubber-wood furniture, handicrafts are very good but we don’t have the market to sell it. This e-market portal will help to sell the products. The government will procure products for this portal and sell them,” Debbarman said.
The Government will procure items and they will be sold on the online portal.
“This e-marketing portal will help for selling our products and granting a wide access to these products,” Debbarman said.
