Vodafone 4gThe country’s second-largest telecom operator Vodafone India has announced 4G services in national capital Delhi and NCR, starting with Gurgaon  it will be rolled out in a phased manner across the city in few months.

The operator will also be giving a free 4G upgrade to its subscribers with a new 4G ready sim. Along with this, the Vodafone 4G users will get three months of free access to mobile TV, movies via HOOQ and Hungama Play.

Vodafone is already supplying 4G sim to its customers and the company has announced that users who are upgrading to 4G-ready sim will be rewarded with free 1GB 4G Internet, at the time of the launch.


The 4G is launched in 1800Mhz band which the company won in March 2015 spectrum auction. Vodafone has already launched 4G in Kerala and Mysuru (Karnataka) and Kolkata. The operator also stated that 4G services will be soon launched in Mumbai and Bengaluru as well.
