Google launches Delhi Public Transport App that also works offline

google appGoogle has have made directions and timetable information for New Delhi metros and buses available offline with the launch of Delhi Public Transport App.


“Delhi Public Transport is a new, experimental app from the Google Maps team, designed from the ground up to make it easier for New Delhi residents to get around on public transport,” Google said in its official blog.

“Even if you don’t have internet connection, you can still get directions between any bus or metro stops and find how late your bus or train will run.”

The app also provides public transport news and delay information online, all packed into a small app of about 1 MB download size.


The app is available for Android from the Google Play store.
