Govt planning new software to stop age fraud in sports

online tradeThe Indian government is planning to introduce a new software to spot and stop age fraud in sports.


Ajit Sharan, Sports secretary said that the government plans to come out with a software which will provide unique identification to each athlete registered under the National Sports Federation (NSF) at a young age, so that he/she will not be able to change the details later on.

“Once the IDs are registered at a young age, it will be difficult to fudge the details.” said Sharan.
