Dr. Subash Chandra Khuntia, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, has been appointed Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy. Currently, he is working as Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
He will be replacing Vrinda Sarup, who is also a 1981 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre and is appointed as Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution.
