Rajesh Kumar Khullar, a 1998 Haryana cadre IAS officer has been appointed as Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of the State, ML Khattar. Earlier, Khullar had served as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) in the Government of India, where he was succeeded by Selva Kumar, an IAS officer of 1997 batch Karnataka cadre as Joint Secretary (JS), DEA.
A few months ago, Haryana Government had requested the Government of India to relieve Khullar. Before Khullar, Sanjeev Kaushal was serving as Principal Secretary to Khattar and Sumita Mishra Singh, a 1990 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre was serving as Secretary to CM.
