14 IAS officers transferred in Punjab

Punjab government transferred 14 IAS officers in the state with immediate effect.

Jagpal Singh Sandhu, Principal Secretary, Home Affairs and Justice, has been given additional charge of the post of Financial Commissioner Revenue and Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations, an official spokesperson said.

Sandhu has replaced N S Kang, who is going on Central deputation.


Dharamvir, available for posting, has been given the charge of Principal Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission.

C Roul, Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms, becomes new Principal Secretary, School Education, the spokesman said.


B Sarkar, Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission, has been posted as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.

Ravneet Kaur, Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Coordination (Cabinet affairs in General Administration Department), relieving Sanjay Kumar of the additional charge.

Anjali Bhawra, Principal Secretary, School Education, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture.

According to reports, other IAS officers transferred include K S Saroj, Raji P Srivastva, K A P Sinha, Samir Kumar, Rakesh Verma, Rahul Bhandari, Sumer Singh Gurjar and R K Kaushik.
