Earlier this year, Tata Tele renewed its contract with ZTE to manage and maintain its GSM networks for three years in Orissa, West Bengal and Bihar (including Jharkhand).

Now it is in advanced talks to give the world’s fifth-largest telecom gearmaker the additional mandate of also managing its CDMA networks in these regions.

Currently Tata Tele is directly managing its CDMA networks in these eastern circles.
