Website of ‘Inter State Council Secretariat’ launched by Home Minister

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has unveiled a new website of Inter State Council Secretariat (ISCS).
The website can be reached at this address: http://interstatecouncil.nic.in/. The main purpose of the ISCS is to coordinate the affairs of the centre and the states.
“The new website developed in house by the secretariat provides a wealth of information on the genesis, constitution, procedure and meetings of the Inter State Council and zonal councils, the evolution of Indian states and various issues of centre state and Inter State relations,” an official statement said.
