The Government has proposal to provide computer facility with internet to all the Police Stations in the country, including Delhi. All the Police Stations would be extended such facility before March, 2010. Planning Commission has provided an outlay of INR 2,000 crores for utilization in 11th Five Year Plan.
This information was provided by Sriprakash Jaiswal, Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha yesterday.
