Bangalore-based online bus ticket vendor, redBus has partnered with Comat Technologies to extend its services to the rural areas in the country.
redBus will provide e-Governance services through Comat’s 800 Nemmadi telecentres that enable people in the rural areas of the state to book bus tickets to various destinations across India. Comat provides e-Governance solutions to enable sustainable socio-economic growth for rural communities in India and provides government and business services in rural and semi-urban areas. The Nemmadi Project is a Government of Karnataka initiative undertaken to enable sustainable socio-economic growth of rural communities in Karnataka.
