Brunei Ministry signs contract for supply of an e-Custom computer system

The Royal Customs and Excise Department, Ministry of Finance has signed a contract with Tooy Office Equipment and Trading Co. for the supply of an e-Custom computer system in Brunei.

The Royal Customs and Excise Department, Ministry of Finance has signed a contract with Tooy Office Equipment and Trading Co. for the supply of an e-Custom computer system in Brunei.

The e-Custom System, which is organised by the Royal Customs and Excise Department, is one of the IT projects of the Ministry of Finance under the implementation of e-Government projects. The project, which is worth around US$ 6.3 million, will take 12 months to be implemented. It is expected to be completed by the middle of 2008. the e-Custom system includes the development of an application system, and the supply and installation of infrastructure including hardware and software for headquarters and custom branches.
