Soon e-Governance in Bangladesh Govt. offices

Soon the offices of the Bangladesh Planning Commission Campus would be interconnected and then connectivity would be extended to the important government offices of the country.

The ICT system will be built to automate government process at the Planning Division, Economic Relations Division (ERD), and Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED). While speaking at the workshop on 'e-Government' at the LGED, Bhaban, Jafar Ahmed Chowdhury, Secretary of the Planning Division of the Ministry of Planning, said that through this project, employees would be able to run the e-Governance system in the Planning Commission. The Bangladesh Government has another project in the Secretariat called Backbone project, where interconnectivity would be established among various ministries.
