The Azerbaijan Government is planning to invest $250 million to $300 million in telecommunications sector within two years.
According to country's Communications and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov, 30% of telephone exchanges still remain analog. Still country needs digital and Internet television system. The government is planning to cooperate with Israeli companies in this field.
