The National eGovernment Strategies Limited (NeGSt) is fully commenced to roll out eProduct and marketing stage of the programme in Nigeria.
The NeGSt is responsible for the eGovernment platform on which several other networks and applications will communicate. The main aim of the NeGSt is to create people empowerment in collaboration with the National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy ( NEEDS), New Partnership for Africa 's Development, NEPAD and Millennium Development Goals, MDG, at the local, regional and global levels respectively. The agency will work as a facilitator to enable all other IT solutions and technology providers and also provide design and implementation to the eGovernment programmes in Nigeria.
