Indian Election Commission asks foreign aid to establish e-Governance

Now, the Election Commission (EC) of India is looking for foreign aid to establish e-Governance across the country.

Now, the Election Commission (EC) of India is looking for foreign aid to establish e-Governance across the country.

The commission has organised meeting on April 15, 2007 with the agencies of different ministries that worked on e-Governance to discuss the matter.United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is already aiding EC in the electoral roll project. The EC has been discussing various issues including eligibility and non-eligibility of candidates, publicity and election camps.
