HP, the first state to acquire ISO certification

Himanchal Pradesh (HP), India successfully implemented 'Quality in Delivery of Public Services' in the state.

Himanchal Pradesh has become the first state in North India to acquire the ISO:9001:2000 certification for e-Governance services in issuance of driving/conductor licenses and registration certificates for motor vehicles. Virbhadra Singh, the Chief Minister of the state presented the first such certificates. He said that sate government is prioritising digitalisation of revenue records, and all the records of gram panchayats in the state.
