Indian President, Kalam emphasises for creation of CISF e-Governance grid

President of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has emphasised to create the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) e-Governance grid while inspecting the guard of honour on the CSIF day in Ghaziabad on March 10, 2007.

He said that an anaylsis should be conduced about the frequency and the type of crime occurring in different establishments serviced by the CISF. There is also need to network all the CISF units in the country and create a CISF e-Governance grid so that rapid mobilisation of additional resources can be done in difficult areas at short notice. He also stressed to conduct a security seminar once in two years, wherein all CSIF chief executives can participate nad present their views based on the overall performance and utilise the feedback for making policy changes.
