Punjab Agricultural Department is planning to adopt high technology to reach the State farmers. According to this plan the Agricultural department is preparing CDs of the different crops during their sowing timing. State is more interested in CDs and DVD players to attract more farmers. The department has decided to prepare CDs of all crops accordingly with experts' advice. The experts would advise the farmers to use a set quantity of fertilisers and pesticides required for a particular crop plant. Besides, the experts would also educate the farmers of the diversification of crop pattern listing the merits and demerits about each crop. These CDs would be proved as a helping tool for the department to create an opinion among the State farmers for the acceptance of the proposed diversification order.
