Gemini Communication has bagged project for computerisation of gram panchayats.

Gemini Communication, Chennai based IT solutions provider is a dominant player in WAN/ LAN networking solutions. According to company, the INR 20 crore project is to computerise gram panchayats for 6.96 villages in Tamil Nadu( TN) and enable e-Governance in gram panchayats. The company has acquired INR 6.7 crore Silicon Valley-based broadband wireless access product company, PointRed Technologies.
