According to a study by the Taubman Centre for Public Policy at Brown University, Indiana's official government portal, IN.gov, has been named the ninth best e-Government site in the United States.

Researchers at the Taubman Centre evaluated the sites of all 50 states, analysing various electronic features, including availability of basic information, readability, online publications, language translation, disability access, privacy policies, security and a number of online services. This is the seventh year the Taubman Center for Public Policy has conducted the survey. Last year, Indiana's website ranked 20th in the country.
