Chandigarh, India, will host the international IT event, e-Revolution 2006, the second mega IT event, at Hotel Taj, Chandigarh, on 19-21 July.
e-Revolution 2006 is the second mega IT event, jointly hosted by the state governments of Haryana and Panjab along with the UT Administration, and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). Mr. S.K. Sandhu, Secretary Information Technology, UT, Chandigarh announced the e-Revolution 2006 event on June 22, at Hotel Mountview. The major objective of this event is to showcase to the IT companies from various other states and abroad. The local IT companies will gain through their interaction with Nasscom and some of the leading IT entrepreneurs, said Mr. Sandhu. This event will also showcase CCR as a top achiever in the realm of e-Governance in India and it will draw together central ministers, senior bureaucrats, corporate planners, HR heads, CEOs, policy advisors, education experts and local entrepreneurs in a constructive agenda to promote the region even further. Apart from the formal seminar sessions, there are visits to the Technology Parks, an e-Governance clinic, and networking dinners for informal interaction.
