The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), India, is going to introduce e-Governance to bring transparency, efficiency, cost effectiveness and delivery on time for the approvals of construction in the city. 

 

Parithi Ellamvazhuthi, minister of information and publicity and chairman of CMDA, said that the proposed e-Governance would enable people to know without much difficulty the status of plan permission, layout approvals and other things.
