Wipro proposes e-Governance to Indian State

IT major Wipro Infotech has offered its services to the Madhya Pradesh Government to promote e-Governance in this Indian state.

The company was already working with 13 states to promote e-Governance, which can play an important role to check corruption. The company is endeavouring to expand the business to other parts of the country under which offices are being expanded in five cities including Bhopal and Coimbatore. Besides helping the company to deliver consultancy, delivery and support services promptly to clients, the new regional office will act as a nerve centre for its activities in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Education, health and drinking water being the major problems in state, Azim Premji Foundation has started working in Datia and Sagar districts to promote primary education.
