e-Seva in rural areas of Medak in south India

Villagers in this southern Indian district will soon have e-Seva facility. At the click of a button, they can pay all their taxes without trekking long distances and obtain information from various departments.

Villagers in this southern Indian district will soon have e-Seva facility. At the click of a button, they can pay all their taxes without trekking long distances and obtain information from various departments.

Of the 1,000 village panchayats in the district, 42 will be computerised in the first phase. Officials have already computerised 10 panchyats. Computers were acquired and data entry is in progress for the remaining 30 panchayats.
