Better Mobile Telephony Tools in Punjab by BSNL
In a bid to transform mobile telephony in Punjab, Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology Sachin Pilot has launched the Bharat Sanchar Nigam’s (BSNL) value-added services (VAS) in the state. The new VAS launched includes ‘dial-a-video’, ‘live share services’ and ‘video SMS’ services.
Mohali
Mohali will soon get a State Data Centre (SDC), one of the key Information Technology infrastructure elements being created in Punjab. It will provide a safe data storage facility. Punjab Information Technology Minister, Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon laid the foundation stone of the INR 12 crore project at Industrial Focal Point, Phase VIII-B, in Mohali.

In order to reduce this dependence, we have planned to have in-house generating capacity, that too, without polluting the environment.
