The allocation for the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission has been increased by 87% to INR12,887 crore, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said while presenting the union budget in Parliament.
Income Tax exemption limit for senior citizens increased by INR15,000, for women and others by INR 10,000 each, while keeping the corporate tax rate unchanged in the Budget.
