
In a significant administrative reshuffle, Shyamal Misra, a 1996-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) and the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). Misra, who currently serves as Chief Administrator of the Trade Fair Authority of Haryana in New Delhi, will now also take on the role of Principal Secretary for the Civil Aviation Department of Haryana.
This development relieves A. Sreenivas, a 2008-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, of his FMDA charge. Despite his expanded portfolio, Misra will continue his duties with the Trade Fair Authority, balancing a pivotal role in advancing Haryana’s urban and aviation infrastructure.
Dana Kishore Appointed Principal Secretary to Telangana Governor in FAC

In Telangana, senior IAS officer Dana Kishore has been entrusted with the Full Additional Charge (FAC) as Principal Secretary to the Governor. Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari announced this decision following the release of B. Venkatesham from the FAC role.

Kishore, a 1996-batch IAS officer, already serving as the Principal Secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department. Recently, he was designated as the nodal officer to oversee inter-departmental coordination for the redevelopment of Osmania General Hospital near Goshamahal. The new hospital building is being constructed at the Police Academy in Goshamahal.
This reshuffle follows the appointment of Venkatesham as Chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), marking a strategic realignment in the state’s bureaucratic leadership.
