In a fresh administrative move, the Chhattisgarh Government has announced the transfer of three IAS officers. Kanker Collector Abhijeet Singh has been recalled and appointed as the Special Secretary of the Home and Jail Department in the Ministry. Singh previously served in the Home Department. Nilesh Kshirsagar, the Additional Chief Electoral Officer, will replace Singh as the new Collector of Kanker.

Nilesh Srirsagar, a 2011 batch IAS officer, has previously served as the Collector of Jashpur and Mahasamund districts. He was posted in the Chief Electoral Officer’s office before the last assembly elections. Additionally, Vasu Jain, a 2021 batch IAS officer, has been recalled from his position as Sarangarh SDM and appointed as Under Secretary in the Planning and Statistics Department in the Ministry.
