The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has empanelled two IAS officers from the 1993 batch for Secretary/Secretary Equivalent level positions in the Government of India.
Dr. Ravi Kota (IAS: 1993: AM), currently the Chief Secretary of Assam, and Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS: 1993: MN), serving as the CEO of Government e Marketplace (GeM) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, have been selected.
Additionally, Annies Kanmani Joy (IAS: 2012: KN) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi, for a four-year term. Meanwhile, Prem Kumar Jha (IFoS: 1993: OD), Joint Secretary of the Department of Sports, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds.
