Approving a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Government of West Bengal on May 12 issued transfer and posting orders of seven IPS officers in the state.

Vishal Garg (IPS 1999-Batch) has been assigned the charge of Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kolkata.

Devendra Prakash Singh (IPS 2002-Batch) has been given the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP), North Bengal Region.

Sabyasachi Raman Mishra (IPS 2004-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Counter Insurgency Force (CIF).


Anjali Singh (IPS 2009-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Commandant, State Armed Police (SAP) 2nd Battalion.

Shrihari Pandey (IPS 2011-Batch) will be taking over as Deputy Commissioner (DC), North Zone, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.

Pradeep Kumar Yadav (IPS 2013-Batch) gets the post of Superintendent of Police (SP), Special Task Force (STF).

Dhritimann Sarkar (IPS 2014-Batch) has been made Deputy Commissioner (DC), Combat Battalion, Kolkata.
