The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has noded for in-situ upgradation of six civil service officers to the level of special secretary in the rank and pay of secretary.

1. Anuradha Prasad (IDAS 1986-Batch) serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, has been promoted as Special secretary.

2. Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFS 1986-Batch) posted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy has been promoted as Special Secretary.

   

3. Jivesh Nandan (IAS 1987-Batch) has been appointed as Special Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.

   
   

4. Sanjay Kumar Singh (IAS 1987-Batch) serving as Additional Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research has been promoted as Special Secretary.

   

5. K Rajeswara Rao (IAS 1988-Batch) has been appointed as Special Secretary, NITI Aayog.

6. SK Dev Verman (IAS 1988-Batch) has been posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs.
