West Bengal govt. transfers 4 IAS officers

In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Government of West Bengal issued transfer and posting orders of four IAS officers in the state.

1. Ghulam Ali Ansari (2000-Batch IAS) has been posted as Secretary, Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education Department. Ansari has also been handed over the additional charge of Chairman, West Bengal Madarasah Service Commission.

2. Abhinav Chandra (2001-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Labour Commissioner.

3. Jaideep Duttagupta (010-Batch IAS) has been transferred and posted as CEO, West Bengal State Agricultural Marketing Board.

   
   

4. Shashank Sethi (2010-Batch IAS) has been made the Managing Director (MD), Paschim Bangal Marketing Corporation Ltd. He has also been given the additional charge of Chairman-in charge, West Bengal State Agricultural Marketing Board and the charge of Project Director, ADB Project of PHE Department.
