Ashish Shrivastava appointed as CTO of Punjab State e-Governance Society

Ashish Shrivastava has become the new Chief Technology Officer, Punjab State e-Governance Society, Department of Governance Reforms and Public Grievances.

Shrivastava will be responsible for implementation of Digital Punjab Programme across various departments of state government and various e-governance projects, creating new Punjab Enterprise Architecture, forming one integrated government, citizen centered approach, digitally empowered society.

He will look into initiatives related to Health, Education, Social Justice, Social Security, Food & Supplies, Elections, Vehicles, Local Government, Land Revenue, Housing and Urban Development, Taxation, Rural Development and Panchayats, Power, State Excise, Environment, Industries, Labour, Agriculture, etc and services for digital transformation.

Earlier, Shrivastava was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of CMS Infosystem Ltd. He has also held the posts as Head – Information Technology at Allied Blenders and Distillers Pvt Ltd., Vice President – IT at Reliance Retail, National Head – IT Operation and Service Delivery at Future Group India.


Shrivastava has 22 years of experience of developing and executing operational strategies to promote organisational growth and optimal utilisation of emerging technology.
