District level workship organised in Latehar under e-Vidya Vahini

In a recent District level workshop organised by the e-Vidya Vahini in Latehar, Jharkhand, District Education Officer Chhatu Vijay Singh said that under the e-Vidya Vahini, at least three schools of Block Education Extension Officer and Block Programme Officer of the district will be monitored online.


The aspects that would be monitored by the e-Vidya Vahini include operation of schools, quality of education provided, attendance of teachers and students along with mid-day meal scheme.

The e vidya vahini enables tracking of teacher attendance, which further contributes towards ensuring quality of education in the state.

The workshop was attended by the Block Education Extension Officers, Block Programme Officers, Block Resource Persons (BRP) and Cluster Resource Person (CRP) were present in the workshop.


According to Additional Programme Officer Shiv Kumar Mallik, all teachers at the block level will be imparted training of e-Vidya Vahini.

The tab-based application, e-Vidya Vahini is undergoing upgradation and is likely to be launched on October 15.
