Kerala govt to open more cyber police stations

cyber-crimeTo tackle cyber crimes, Kerala government has decided to open three more cyber police stations in major cities this year.

The cities include Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur.

“Three more cyber police stations will also be opened in main cities of the state including Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannu,”Ramesh Chennithala said.

“Kerala will soon set up a CyberDome at the Technopark campus in Thiruvananthapuram as part of the initiative to modernise the police force,” Chennithala said, adding that the CyberDome will become operational in October this year.


Currently, Thiruvananthapuram is the only city in Kerala having a cyber police station.
