
Chip giant Intel and the Department of Science and Technology have announced the ‘Innovate for Digital India’ challenge.
“The challenge focusses on creating products to make technology simpler and increasing adoption in India. It will be open to entrepreneurs, innovators, academia, engineers, designers and students,” Intel Vice President (Sales and Marketing Group) and Managing Director South Asia Debjani Ghosh said.
Innovation in areas like using biometric sensing capabilities, gesture recognition, multilingual support and voice support will be focussed.
