Karan Bir Singh Sidhu, a 1984 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) with the Government of India (GoI). Earlier, he was on deputation to the GoI and has been promoted recently to the rank of ACS.
