Aadhar registration is now mandatory for defence pensioners to enroll for  Jeevan Pramaan.

“An Aadhar-based biometric verification system is being set up to enable defence pensioners to give their annual ‘Jeevan Pramaan-Digital Life Certificates’. Aadhar registration is a mandatory requirement,” according  to reports.

All ex-servicemen and those drawing family pensions are required to register themselves with Jeevan Pramaan Portal by visiting the nearest Jeevan Pramaan Centre.
