Partnering with Intel, Radiant Infosystems has launched Community PC under Rajiv Internet kiosk Project with 1500 PCs in 14 districts of Andhra Pradesh to bring a great success to e-Governance programme of the State.
The Intel-powered Community PC platform is designed to operate in a community setting while accommodating the varying environmental conditions prevalent in the country. The objective behind the project is to bridge the urban and rural digital gap. The goal of this e-Initiative is to offer a range of facilities to citizens such as payment of utility bills and commercial taxes, ticket reservations, birth and death registration, and also give access to higher value-added services like computer education and micro-finance. A pilot project has been carried out in Chittoor and Kadapa with 10 PCs.
