Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan has launched Gnani Artha, a sovereign AI stack developed by GNANI AI, at Up-Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
The stack comprises Evon 3.3, a large language model, and Plexus, a platform designed to connect AI intelligence with real-world work and institutions.
Focus on Sovereign AI
Welcoming the launch, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan said the combination of Evon 3.3 and Plexus reflects the growing capabilities of India’s technology ecosystem.
He emphasised that India should move beyond being a consumer of technology and focus on developing indigenous technological capabilities.
AI to Create New Opportunities
The Vice President said artificial intelligence is expected to create new avenues for employment, innovation and economic growth, similar to the opportunities created by the expansion of the IT sector.
He also highlighted the IndiaAI Mission and AI Centres of Excellence as important initiatives supporting India’s progress in artificial intelligence.
Strengthening India’s AI Capabilities
Highlighting the importance of technological self-reliance, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan stressed the need for India to build sovereign AI capabilities to strengthen its technological and strategic autonomy.
He said such capabilities would be an important part of India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
GNANI AI Leadership Congratulated
The Vice President congratulated GNANI AI CEO Shri Ganesh Gopalan and Co-Founder and CTO Shri Ananth Nagaraj on the launch.
