Two significant leadership updates were announced recently in India’s public sector enterprise space, following decisions by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
Pawan Kumar Rai has been selected for the post of Director (Project Planning) at Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), a Schedule-‘A’ company under the Ministry of Railways. The recommendation was made during PESB Meeting No. 101/2025 on 25 October 2025, where 11 senior executives were interviewed. Rai is currently General Manager (Civil) at Northern Coalfields Limited.

Nivedita Dubey has been recommended by the PESB for the position of Member (Human Resources) at the Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Schedule-‘A’ PSU under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The selection was made following the interview of 12 candidates on 24 October 2025. Ms Dubey is currently the Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region) at AAI.
Her selection is subject to formal approvals by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) and requisite clearances.
