3 IAS Shifted in Punjab, DK Tiwari Appointed ACS Transport

The Punjab government has issued fresh postings for three senior IAS officers. DK Tiwari, a 1994-batch officer, has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary, Transport, and has also been entrusted with the additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Kamal Kishor Yadav, a 2003-batch IAS officer, has been named Administrative Secretary of the Industries and Commerce and Investment Promotion Department. His appointment comes after a period of over a month without a posting.

Varun Roojam, a 2004-batch officer, has been posted as the Administrative Secretary of the Transport Department.


Meanwhile, no new postings have been assigned to three senior officers—Gurkirat Kirpal Singh (1995 batch), Puneet Goyal (1991 batch), and Jitender Jorwal (2014 batch)—in this round of reshuffling.
