In a significant administrative reshuffle, the General Administration Department of Gujarat has announced the transfer and posting of 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across various departments and districts.

As per the official notification issued on Wednesday:

• Dilip Kumar Rana (2007 batch), Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as Commissioner of Higher Education in Gandhinagar, replacing Gurav Dinesh Ramesh.
• Dr NK Meena (2010 batch), Director of Fisheries, Gandhinagar, has been assigned to the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department and appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation. This relieves Hanul Choudhary of the additional charge.
• Tusharkumar Y Bhatt (SCS: 2010), Managing Director of Gujarat Informatics Ltd., has been appointed as Collector, Patan, replacing Arvind V.
• Manish Kumar (2013 batch), Managing Director of Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd., will now serve as Collector, Bhavnagar, relieving D.M. Solanki of additional charge.
• Arun Mahesh Babu (2013 batch), Managing Director of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., Mehsana, has been moved to the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department and appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara, replacing Dilip Kumar Rana.
• RR Damor (SCS: 2013), Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Gandhinagar, has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the Government in the Climate Change Department.
• Arvind V (2014 batch), Collector of Patan, has been posted as Managing Director, Gujarat Informatics Ltd., Gandhinagar.
• Neha Kumari, formerly Collector of Mahisagar, has been appointed as Mission Director, Gujarat State Electronics Mission, Gandhinagar.
• Arpit Sagar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara, will now serve as Collector, Mahisagar.
• Shalini Duhan, Joint Secretary, Urban Development & Housing, has been posted as Collector, Dangs-Ahwa.
• Bhavya Verma, Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), Gandhinagar, will take charge as Collector, Valsad.
• Ganga Singh, Managing Director of Gujarat Medical Services Corporation Ltd., has been appointed Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara.
• Manish Gurwani, Mission Director of Gujarat State Electronics Mission, has been moved to the role of Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Rajkot.
• Gurav Dinesh Ramesh, Director of Higher Education, has been transferred to serve as Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Surat.
• Surabhi Gautam, Joint Managing Director, GIDC, has been appointed as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Vadodara.
• Dr Prashant Jilova (2017 batch), Additional Industries Commissioner, Gandhinagar, has been posted as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Ahmedabad, relieving Amrutesh Aurangabadkar of the additional charge.
