The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved proposals to issue Letters of Comfort (LoCs) to three industrial units, involving a proposed investment of ₹2,606.04 crore in the state. The projects by Agristo Masa Private Limited, Canpack India Private Limited and Supreme Industries Limited will be established in Bijnor, Unnao and Kanpur Dehat.
Canpack India will set up an aluminium beverage can manufacturing unit in Unnao with a proposed investment of ₹1,573.62 crore. The project will be established on around 26 hectares of land in the UPEDA IMLC Industrial Corridor area and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 130 crore units.
Agristo Masa will expand its existing potato flakes operations in Bijnor and enter the French fries segment. The company currently has an annual production capacity of around 7,332 metric tonnes, while the proposed French fries unit will have a maximum installed capacity of 75,000 metric tonnes per year. The project involves an investment of ₹794.27 crore.

Supreme Industries will invest ₹238.15 crore in Kanpur Dehat to manufacture value-added plastic building solution products. Established in 1942, the company operates 28 manufacturing plants across India.
The three projects will receive policy-based incentives through Letters of Comfort under eligible categories, including FDI/FCI and other applicable provisions.
The proposed investments are expected to expand manufacturing activity in Bijnor, Unnao and Kanpur Dehat and create direct and indirect employment opportunities. The projects are also expected to support investment and industrial activity in the respective districts.
