US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to arrive in Jaipur on Monday as part of his ongoing India visit, with extensive preparations and high-level security arrangements underway across the city. Diya Kumari to Welcome Rubio at Amer Fort
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari is scheduled to welcome the US Secretary of State at Amer Fort, where he is expected to arrive at approximately 3 p.m.
Officials said preparations for a ceremonial reception have already begun at Jaleb Chowk within the fort complex. Folk artists and cultural troupes are being mobilised to present traditional Rajasthani cultural performances as part of the welcome ceremony, showcasing the state’s rich heritage and tourism appeal.
High Alert Across Jaipur Ahead of Visit
In view of the high-profile diplomatic visit, the Jaipur district administration, police and multiple security agencies have been placed on high alert.
Authorities have intensified inspections and security reviews at:
- Travel routes linked to VVIP movement
- Hotels and accommodation facilities
- Tourist attractions and event venues
- Sensitive public locations across the city
Security personnel are maintaining close surveillance across major tourist zones and strategic points connected to Rubio’s itinerary.
